In person meetings are available for both our current clients and new consultations although Zoom or meetings via phone are preferred. If meeting in person, masks are required as per the provincial government’s mandatory mask policy. Our lawyers and staff are fully masked and meeting rooms are sanitized between appointments.
While the provincial government has declared an ongoing State of Emergency, the courts are open but there are restrictions in place. We are conducting the majority of our court matters via phone and are experiencing longer than usual delays in processing documents through the courts as well as obtaining hearing dates. We strongly encourage the use of mediation and have successfully concluded a number of mediations via Zoom.
DLG is taking extraordinary measures to sanitize the building and our offices. You will find hand sanitizer by the first floor elevator. All touch points, including but not limited to door handles and elevator pads/buttons are sanitized with bleach overnight and at least once during the day. Our front counter and desks are also sanitized. Lawyers and staff will be wearing masks as per the provincial government’s mandatory mask policy. All visitors are required to do so as well. Should you require the use of a pen, we will provide you with one a new DLG pen that you can use onsite and must be taken with you when you leave.
Our lawyers and their assistants are doing their best to provide you with timely responses to your inquiries, requests and emails. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times.
