Aisha Naveed

Lawyer

With her diverse background, Aisha has proven to be a strong addition to the DLG team of professionals. She received her law degree from Brunel University in Uxbridge, England, then spent some time in the UK as a legal assistant before coming to Canada.

Before moving to the Lower Mainland, Aisha worked as a volunteer coordinator for Interval Home in Lloydminster, Alberta, a place providing shelter and crisis management for at-risk women and their families. From there, she moved to North Vancouver, where she worked as a recruiter for Northshore Insulations for a few years.

While articling at a Fraser Valley law firm, Aisha focused on real estate, family law, wills and estates, business law and immigration law. She currently holds a certification of qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2020. Since joining DGL, Aisha’s areas of practice include family law, employment and human rights law, real estate, wills and probate and business law.

A strong believer in giving back, Aisha is also a dedicated volunteer. She is the vice-chair of the South Asian Legal Clinic of British Columbia, is an active volunteer with the Access Pro Bono Society of British Columbia and works with Ahmadiyya Women’s Association as an outreach and volunteer coordinator for a youth group. While she was in Lloydminster, Aisha taught English to new immigrants through the Lloydminster Learning Council Association.

She is fluent in both Hindi and Urdu.
